Crypto trading platform Crypso raises $3M to grow its user base

Community-led crypto investment platform Crypso said today that it has raised $3 million in a seed funding round led by Hashed Emergent, Athera Venture Partners, Better Capital, and Whiteboard Capital.

The round also joined notable angel investors, including Polygon founders Sandeep Nailwal and Jaynti Kanani and Cred founder Kunal Shah.

Truebil founders Suraj Kalwani, Ravi Chirania, and Rakesh Raman co-founded Crypso in January 2022. Crypso is an online trading platform that allows cryptocurrency users to learn and discover the latest crypto trends and invest through trading signals on various altcoins generated by crypto experts.

According to the startup, the capital raised will be used to grow its user base and expand the breadth of its product and technology offerings. The cryptocurrency trading platform claims to have 50,000 registered users and plans to hit one million active users in the next 8-12 months.

“Crypto is fundamentally a social asset class and young Indian users are actively engaging with peers, influencers, and investment communities for cryptocurrency updates, analysis, and investment signals. We provide a one-stop shop for all cryptocurrency analysis needs,” said Co-Founder and CEO Suraj Kalwani.
