Khushboo Jain, Co-Founder and COO, ImpactGuru.com

Khushboo Jain co-founded crowdfunding platform ImpactGuru in July 2014 and has served since as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. In addition, she heads Impact Guru’s Communications, Design and Brand teams. Khushboo Jain is actively involved in the company’s marketing and communications strategies, community building activities, the ImpactGuru product users’ experience, and with Impact Guru’s work with nonprofits.

Khushboo Jain is an alumna of Sydenham College, Mumbai, where she studied Business Management, and WE Business School – Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research, where she earned an MBA with a focus in Marketing. She went on to study fashion marketing at the London College of Fashion and at Parsons the New School of Design in New York, where she honed her skills in Fashion Management & Merchandising.

Prior to co-founding ImpactGuru, Khushboo Jain has worked as a fashion marketer for Valiram in Singapore, handling a brand portfolio that included Hackett, La Martina, and Jimmy Choo, liaising closely with the press. She has also worked with celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra in a fashion merchandising and buying role and with actor/model/designer Malaika Arora Khan’s The Closet Label (now The Label Life).

Khushboo Jain began an entrepreneurial career and co-founded ImpactGuru with a mission to help India’s people find crowdfunding solutions for healthcare, social change, and personal and creative projects.

ImpactGuru.com, a fintech company, is India’s largest crowdfunding platform for medical expenses, personal causes, and non-profits. The company was incubated at Harvard Innovation Lab in the USA in 2014. ImpactGuru.com has a presence in Mumbai, New Delhi, Singapore, and San Francisco.

Raised Rs 3.3 crores from RB Investments Pvt Ltd (Singapore VC Fund) in April 2016. In May 2018, we raised US$2mm/ 13 crore in Series A round co-led by Apollo Hospitals Group, India’s largest hospital chain. Singapore based VC fund, RB Investments, an existing investor, also participated in the round along with Currie Healthtech Fund, India’s largest health tech fund by the number of deals. Our partnership with Apollo Hospitals Group makes us the preferred crowdfunding platform for all of Apollo patients nationwide.

Due to our strategic partnership and technology integration with GlobalGiving.org, the world’s largest nonprofit crowdfunding platform based in US and UK, we are the only crowdfunding platform that can offer Indian, US, and UK tax benefits to Indian and international donors.

Built an AI-supported story builder for medical fundraisers, with a template for all campaigners to develop their own standardized campaign stories. We are the only crowdfunding platform to have their own story builder to help customers write great stories as it’s a major pain point in the industry today.

Are also the first crowdfunding player in India to launch a smartphone app for customers with the Android app already available for download. The Android app presents the user with a quick view of their fundraiser, thus enabling them to keep track of the progress of the campaign, get real-time donation notifications, and post updates.
