How to use this page

Fill in each box in plain language, one or two sentences is enough to start. The business plan and the pitch deck outline update as you type. Empty sections show a question to help you write the answer.

Your text is only rearranged, never rewritten, so the plan is as strong as your answers. Use Copy text or Download .txt to move it into a document, or Print or save as PDF to keep the formatted version.

Frequently asked questions

What should a one-page business plan include?

A short plan usually covers the problem, your solution, your target customers, how you make money, your competition, how you will reach customers, your team and the funding you need. This page uses exactly those sections.

How long should a pitch deck be?

Many founders aim for around ten slides for a first pitch, with one idea per slide. The outline here has ten slides, from the problem to the funding you are asking for.

Is this enough to get a loan or investment?

It is a starting point. Banks and investors usually also ask for financial projections. Use the Startup Budget and Break-Even Calculator to work out your monthly costs and the sales you need.

Does the page save my answers?

No. Everything stays in your browser and is lost when you close or refresh the page. Copy or download your text to keep it.

Can I print the plan or save it as a PDF?

Yes. Choose Print or save as PDF, then pick Save as PDF as the destination in your browser's print window.
